0 PL goals since Aug, 1 PL assist in 3 months, injuries – 5ft 9in player struggling at Man City

Jack Grealish missed Manchester City’s 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain as he wa still recovering from an injury picked up during the international break and it’s capped a miserable time at the Etihad Stadium for the new recruit.

Big things were expected of Grealish upon his £100m move from Aston Villa, but he’s so far had a lukewarm season in terms of form and now finds himself on the treatment table.

The 26-year-old has made 15 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals with three assists. He’s without a goal in the Premier League since August, however, and has only bagged one assist in those three months too.

Grealish was an unused substitute in City’s 2-0 win over Manchester United (November 6) and wasn’t in the matchday squad for their 3-0 win over Everton (November 21), so he’s not played any football for three weeks – last appearance came in Champions League win over Club Brugge (November 3).

The England international missed training ahead of the midweek clash with PSG, but his condition has been improving. The Manchester Evening News are tipping him to return in time for City’s home clash with West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
