According to a report from the Sun, former Man City winger and alleged recent target Jadon Sancho is ‘willing‘ to make a return to the Sky Blues if we were to make an offer – with his current valuation standing at £115 million.
Sancho, who left Eastlands for Borussia Dortmund back in 2017, signing for £8m, has since gone on to shine in the Bundesliga – scoring 34 goals and assisting 43 others over 96 outings at Signal Iduna Park according to Transfermarkt.
Should City bring Sancho back to the Etihad in a £115m deal?
Yes, absolutely world class
No, he forced a move away
This season, the 20-year-old sensation has also amassed impressive numbers, scoring 17 goals from the wing as Dortmund challenge Bayern Munich for the league title.
As a result, Sancho has been linked with a big money move away recently, with a handful of Premier Leagues suitors, including City, reportedly eyeing a swoop for the £190,000-per-week star.
Now, the Sun claim that if our bitter rivals Man United among other interested parties continue to stall on the £115m asking price, then he would be open to a City return.
Indeed, the England international apparently has his ‘heart set‘ on a return to the Premier League, with Pep Guardiola’s side now emerging as a potential candidates to sign him.
This comes after Sancho left City for Dortmund following a fall-out with manager Guardiola, something he is willing to forgive if we come in with the right offer.
Debatably, if we managed to beat the likes of United, Chelsea and Liverpool to his signature, it would be a brilliant coup considering his noteworthy performances this season – but whether or not we opt to make a bid remains to be seen.
