The fifth round draw for this year’s League Cup will take place on Thursday October 26.
Carabao, as the new three year sponsor’s of the competition, will be holding the draw live on Twitter and for the first time it will be exclusive to the platform.
Fans can watch on Twitter at the completely appropriate time of 4pm later this evening (don’t let your bosses catch you) and it’ll be hosted by Talksport’s Sam Matterface, who will be joined by Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson.
Who needs convenient television and a time when the vast majority of fans won’t be at work eh. Credit to the EFL, at least they haven’t picked Mars for the next draw, but I’m sure it’s coming.
Following last night’s fixtures, those eight clubs through to the fifth round draw are now known and ball numbers will already have been allocated this morning, or will follow shortly.
The quarter final stage games will take place in December in the week commencing the 18th.
