Manchester City has put a late bid in for Blackburn Rovers striker, Roque Santa Cruz.
With only 30 minutes left on the transfer window City have bowed to Rovers demand and it is believed the transfer may go through on time.
Because of the bad weather, the Football Association has extended the window by a few hours but only if the clubs involved can prove the deal was agreed prior to the 1700 hours GMT deadline.
