The FA Cup Fifth Round tie against Wigan Athletic is not a ‘gimme’ by any stretch of the imagination, even though some may say Manchester City just need to turn up to win the game.

(A) Wigan are struggling to fill the 25,000 plus stadium and so I would suggest the 5,400 plus travelling Blues should / WILL out sing and drown out the home support.
(B) If City do what they normally do then the lads will have around 60-75% ball possession. If that doesn’t keep the home fans quite then I don’t know what will, other than (C).
(C) I expect to hear thousands of home fans jaw dropping / smacking noises as their chins hit their meat pies and cups of Bovril when they watch the likes of Leroy Sane, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, David Silva and the like passing the ball, Barcelona (esk).
Pep should put out a strong starting XI?
City’s Predicted Starting XI v Wigan
It his highly likely Pep will replace Ederson for our domestic cup competition keeper, Claudio Bravo. Other than that I fully expect Pep, who is taking this tie seriously field, a very strong side.

Press Wigan into making mistakes
None stop pressure should wear and grind the League One outfit into the ground.
There you go – simples!
