With a full house against Hamburg on Thursday, there is a real possibility 48,000 Manchester City fans might be left with no option but to sing MARK HUGHES OUT & YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.
Make no mistake the tide is turning with the anti- Hughes camp gathering momentum. The boo brigade was out in force following the 3-1 home defeat against Fulham on Sunday and then to add insult to injury someone was heard to boo Hughes during his post match interview.
I for one have spread the pro-Hughes message ever since his appointment but even my patience is beginning to wear thin. I also appreciate his task must be a difficult one, but you just have to look at the players body language to say they are an unhappy lot. I wonder if they are puzzled as we are at the Welshman’s poor tactics, and on occasion, bizarre substitutions.
To get any result on Thursday is going to test the very best Mark Hughes has to offer, however representatives from ADUG will be at the game and if they witness a poor display and hear the fans chanting anything derogatory against you know whom, well I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hughes joining the dole queue come Friday morning.
