With the Manchester derby only days away I thought I would ask the question…

Manchester (City & United) hooligans – why?

On a personal note I grew up in the 1970’s when football hooliganism caught on in a big way. The following decade saw English teams banned from domestic European competition all because of a few mindless yobs.

Thankfully, times may have changed and many of you reading this won’t remember the days when football within England nearly died. However, I would love to hear your own personal hooligan stories, whether you were a victim, or whether you were party to it all.

If you wish to remain anonymous then fine, just send me an email (details later), or if you want to tell your tale via our forums, please click on the following link. This will take you to our City Chat forum where you can tells us about your hooligan experiences.
