Dynamo Kyiv Captain Andriy Shevchenko might be coming to the end of his illustrious career, however, the 34-year-old Ukrainian still poses a threat in front of goal.

Shevchenko’s three year stint at Chelsea didn’t go according to what owner Roman Abramovich would have hoped, but then again we could say that about Robinho and look what he’s currently achieving at AC Milan.

Andriy’s final swansong before he hangs up his playing boots for good is to try and achieve success with Dynamo Kyiv. He has won a hatful of major honours, none other than being voted the Champions League Best Forward in 1999. I am sure he will try and end his career on a high and the only way he can do that is by winning this years Europa League. But we can’t allow that can we?

City’s defence on Thursday is going to in for a torrid time but with a bit of luck we’ll do whatever it takes to progress in the competition. After all I hear Dublin is a lovely place to visit in May.
