Are You Ready For Cardiff City? These Manchester City Players Certainly Are

|

Wednesday’s Champions League home defeat against Lyon is, in my mind, blocked from my sub-consciousness until the next UCL tie at the beginning of October, away at Hoffenheim.

As I type, the Premier League is most certainly at the forefront of my thoughts, and thankfully it can’t come quick enough. Oh wait, the lads face Cardiff City tomorrow afternoon.

The next game is always the most critical and Saturday afternoon’s 3 pm BST kick-off certainly fits the bill.

Contracted until 2021 I wish I could earn a slither of Sergio’s reported £200,000 per week salary. Then again, I am not the best striker Manchester City has ever seen.

Kevin De Bruyne might be in injured, but that doesn’t stop him looking sharp.

The Belgian international hopes to be fighting fit to face Manchester United in November.

Nico Otamendi

The lads prepare to take on the Premier League newbies.

City can prepare all they like, but if we see a similar performance from Wednesday, we’ll get done over.

Come on CITY!
