There must be over 40 Manchester City blogs out there in cyberspace, many of which are building themselves a fantastic reputation. If you are a City blogger, perhaps you might want to read on.

Being a one-man-band is not what it’s cracked up to be, I know, I’ve been there. Writing material is fine and dandy at the beginning of the blogs life but as time wears on and with life restraints means more often or not the site becomes a back-burner blog. In other words, one has to prioritise with the blog becoming less of a priority.

This article is not intended to be patronising or aimed at any particular blog. On the contrary, if we at Vital Manchester City can help the amount of hits your site generates then great.

From time to time we receive requests to copy and paste a report from various blogs and then if appropriate, we publish them via our front pages. We of course add the authors name and link back to their original source. If by reading this and you would like us to do something similar, please email me at manchestercity@vitalfootball.co.uk and I’ll happily do the rest.

I appreciate many of you will have feeds going directly to NewsNow but several out there don’t. It’s worth applying if you haven’t already done so.

The slight difference we have at VMC have is that our front page articles go to search engines such as Google, Yahoo and the like. In addition, several newspapers take our front page article links directly to their Man City related link pages. UK based radio station, Talk Sport do something similar via their main page.

In other words, why write a fantastic article when virtually no one has access to it?

Here is an example…

5-1 blogspot.com

A fantastic article – in my opinion thousands if not millions of readers should have access.

If we can help and you would like us to publish any of your material, or you want advice reference getting your site onto NewsNow etc, email me here.
