Former Manchester City midfielder, Gary Owen handled Radio TalkSport drive-time presenters, Adrian Durham and Darren Gough with ease earlier today.

TalkSport’s drive-time show interviewed the City legend following criticism from some quarters after Roberto Mancini’s so-called defensive tactics against Arsenal last night.

Owen said…

‘Should we go there like Chelsea and get turned over? The key was to not lose ground on our rivals, and we did that. And in fact gained ground on Spurs and Chelsea.’

‘It’s not realistic to win every game and sometimes you have to dig deep. Last year we beat Chelsea twice but were nowhere near winning the title.’

‘One game doesn’t make a season. It’s about being better than last season and finishing in the top four.’

‘If you can’t win, don’t lose. If you want to challenge, when you’re not playing well, make sure you don’t get beat.’

As the interview proceeds Gary gives Durham and Gough both barrels.

Nice one Gary.
