Manchester City enjoyed a 5-0 win over Everton on Sunday afternoon and Sergio Aguero was one of many players to impress on the day. The 32-year-old scored twice from the bench, was given a 10 rating by the Manchester Evening News and was hailed by supporters on social media for his performance.
Aguero’s first goal came in the 71st minute and saw him jink past one defender before stabling in from close range with the outside of his foot. He completed his brace minutes later with an outstanding header from Fernandinho’s cross from the right.

Aguero’s goals yesterday to sign off for City in the PL were typical of him. The header in particular was superb. Top class player

Against Everton, the Argentine international played for 25 minutes, had 24 touches, completed 86.7% of his 15 passes, had four shots which all hit the target and had two successful dribbles. He shone in his farewell Premier League game and deserved the plaudits.
Aguero has now scored 260 goals and made 73 assists from 389 appearances since joining City from Atletico Madrid in 2011. He’s one of the greatest players the Premier League has ever seen and is staking a claim to surpass Thierry Henry in terms of legacy, especially if he wins the Champions League in a few days.
