Mario Balotelli has become a liability especially after he was sent off after 36 minutes in City’s 1-0 win over Dynamo Kyiv. In my opinion his foul can only be described as needless and holly pathetic, cynical foul.
‘Buffoon’ Balotelli is a man on the verge of imploding. He appears to be suffering from sort of mental illness and treatment can only be the answer. Why I hear you ask? Well, just look at his body language. He growls and stamps his foot when decisions don’t go his way. Nothing unusual there as there are dozens of players with similar attitudes but Mario is different from any other player I’ve watched kick a ball. He’s a nasty bugger and more often or not I end up cringing every time I see him represent MCFC just in case he does something irrational – tonight was no different. Yes, you’ve guessed it; he receives a red and at the same time lets his fellow team-mates down.
Since moving from Inter Milan in the summer the immature 20-year-old has started 15 games and in that time he’s received two red and eight yellow cards. Unless he changes his whole perception then it will be a matter of time before a player or official reports his challenges / assaults on the field of play to the police. Oh yes, no one is immune and if its clear an assault has occurred Mario will need a solicitor not just a psychiatrist.
He has an abundance of talent but his head is off the Richter scale. Please Roberto, get rid as soon as possible.
