Despite yesterday’s onfield antics by Didier Drogba and a late flurry of voting, Cristiano Ronaldo has won the dubious honour of top premiership diver according to our poll.
Now I guess the result may have been ever so slightly influenced by local rivalries, but none of the players on the list, and the others who didn’t make it this time around, should be proud of the reputations they are earning – just cut it out; you don’t need to do it !!
It was also rather amusing to hear Arsene Wenger calling for a clampdown on diving and cheating – the names Pires,Cole,Reyes,Vieira and Lehmann sprung quickly to mind.
