Trevor Sinclair said farewell to his fellow blue colleagues today after the club called time on his City career.
In a move that was widely expected the club decided that it would not be prudent to offer the 34 year old a further contract.
Sinclair has been dogged by injuries during his time at Eastlands and City supporters never really saw the best of the ex England International.
That said he will be remembered for scoring in two Manchester derbies and his wonderful comment that scoring a goal for City against United was ‘better than sex’ (shame you didn’t take the penalty on Saturday then Trev).
The release of Sinclair hopefully signals the start of the exodus of under achievers from Eastlands, manager included.
For those two goals alone however this site wishes Trevor Sinclair well wherever he goes.
