Manchester City’s next opponents in the Europa League knockout stage on Thursday 10 March 2011 is Ukrainian side FC Dynamo Kyiv.

Dynamo’s home is the 16,900 capacity Lobanovsky Dynamo Stadium however, few Blue are expected to travel to the former Soviet Union due to the cost implications and of course, freezing temperatures.

While millions of us cosy up in front of a warm fire to watch the match on ITV4 HD those who dare to venture into a far-flung part of the world can expect snow showers and brass-monkey temperatures.

Just a thought but I wonder how many players will be wearing snoods prior to ban which comes into force in July.
