City have the chance to cut the gap on leaders Chelsea to two-points on Saturday, we’ll only do that if we can beat Burnley at Turf Moor in the Saturday night Sky Sports game and even then that two-point gap would have Chelsea with two games in hand.

We can only do our part now though can’t we!

Burnley are without Matt Taylor (Achilles) again, but he’s been back in the Development Squad recently. Recent signing Fredrik Ulvestad isn’t going to be involved.

Having been among the subs, and unused, against Leicester in our last game Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta could come back into the starting XI.

Samir Nasri and Fernandinho, who has played down ‘the fight’ he was said to have had with Kompany, both missed that squad but should come into contention considering Manuel Pellegrini is said to have ‘a fully fit squad’ to select from.

Burnley beat us, at Turf Moor, back in 1974 but since that win we’ve won eight and drawn five of the 13-matches since. We need to extend this run, but will we? Cast a vote on the way you think this will go in the poll to your right!
