Vital Manchester City received the following article from mcfcirish.

Derby Day 2009 Round One is over and first blood goes to Manchester United, thanks to a mix of bad defending and some helpful FA assistance.

However I’m writing this article not to moan but to call for solidarity (having managed four games without defeat). Don’t forget, City went three games without conceding, albeit a defeat was bound to come along. On the plus side, we did not get rolled over yesterday.

There can’t be any of this ‘Hughes out’ rubbish. If there is it will give ammunition to all the City bashers out there. Lets take the lessons from the game and move one.

We have a Carling Cup home game on Wednesday night vs. Fulham, so lets hope for a decent crowd and lets hope we get back to our winning ways.

HEADS UP LADS & KEEP THE FAITH!
