Sevilla dumped Manchester United out of the Champions League last night. Hey-ho, not to worry, the Blue half of Manchester still has a vested interest.
Teams in the draw
Juventus (Italy)
Liverpool (England)
Manchester City (England)
Real Madrid (Spain – holders)
Roma (Italy)
Sevilla (Spain)
Tonight’s last 16 second leg ties will make up the final two places.
Besiktas (0) v (5) Bayern Munich
Barcelona (1) v (1) Chelsea
Quarter-final draw
The UEFA Champions League quarter-final draw will take place in Nyon on Friday 16 March at 11:00 GMT.
BT Sport and talkSPORT radio within the UK will broadcast the event, live.
When will the ties be played?
The first leg games will take place on Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 April, with the return legs on 10 and 11 April.
The Champions League quarter-finals do NOT protect clubs from their own respective leagues. In other words MCFC could be drawn against Liverpool. I would have added Chelsea into the equation but I doubt they will make it.
Who would you like in the quarters?
As for me, Sevilla, who were awful against the Rags tick all the boxes.
Come on CITY!
