Mark Hughes is set to be a SKY TV pundit for Chelsea’s hosting of his former club Manchester City this Saturday.

The Daily Mail says Hughes will make his first appearance in public on Saturday since being sacked as manager of Manchester City in December.

The match kicks-off at 12:45pm.

Here are a few of your forum comments.

bluemooner_mcfc – Is this Hughes’s way of gloating? If so he can get **cked because I`d rather us get relegated than that t*** manage us.

Bad taste by Hughes because he could have said no to this invite from sky who themselves have set this up as some sort of freak show.

BlueWolfie – I will be interested to hear what he has to say about the actual game at half and FT, regardless of the result.

Kevinho – I don’t have a problem with Hughes offering his opinions on Sky`s coverage of the match as after all he has connections with both clubs as he was a player at Chelsea and manager at City and he has a right to earn his money as much as the next man. What I probably will have a problem with is Sky`s presenter asking questions which have been fed to him by his producer about how Hughes feels about his sacking with the amount of leading questions that they will ask – He should leave it for now and release a book in a few years time.

MCFC_Goatboy – Pathetic. The guy can’t even take a job punditing two months after being sacked without getting ripped into. You expect him to pundit on a Scarborough game or something? Of course it would be a City game? and as he played for Chelsea too… even more reason it would be a Chelsea City game. He’s not even spoken a word yet. How about waiting till afterwards to decide if you don’t like what he says instead of guessing and then having a go at your own guess.
