Manchester City lost another two points in the race for the much coveted fourth spot as they recorded yet another draw against Hull City.

This latest setback sees Mark Hughes’ side slipping to three points behind Tottenham who currently sit in the last remaining Champions League spot, although City still have a game in hand.

Shaun Wright-Phillips fired the Blues into the lead after 45 minutes but a dubious penalty decision saw Jimmy Bullard equalize for the Tigers in the last 10 minutes.

Replays of the handball decision which led to the spot-kick show that the ball did not hit Lescott’s arm as was adjudged.
