Highly rated Argentinian U20 international Bruno Zuculini has now signed for City.

Speculation linking us with the youngster has been ongoing for a good few weeks now and he had already joined the club for pre season training and travelled with the group on our trips to Scotland and the USA – impressing in games when called upon and scoring against Kansas City.

The 21 year old joins us from Racing Club, where he has made 92 appearances, scoring ten times.

Speaking to the Official Site after the paperwork was completed and the deal sealed, he explained.

‘I’m very excited about the future. I’m looking forward to the experiences which this move will bring and to improving myself as a player.’

Despite being signed mainly for the EDS and as a player for the future, he has been handed the No 36 shirt for this season and made his competitive club debut against Arsenal today in the Community Shield as a second half substitute.

Presumably it won’t be his only appearance this season as manager Manuel Pellegrini looks to grow him and give him the experience necessary for him to reach the potential we clearly see in him.
