City are rumoured to be in the hunt for Lyon’s French international striker, Sidney Govou.

Govou, who has only just returned from World Cup duty today, is keen to move to the Premiership according to his agent.

That news is said to have alerted City, although there is also said to be interest being shown from Fulham and Middlesbrough.
