Al Jazira midfielder Ibrahim Diaky has today revealed he is in talks with Manchester City over a possible move.

On a possible move to Eastland`s the Ivorian midfielder had this to say:

‘It’s possible. The club president told me about the possibility about one month ago. I heard Mark Hughes was here last month and the president is talking to some people; team coaches and managers. Maybe next year it can happen.

‘For me it would be a big pleasure to play for Manchester City. They are a big team and it would be a great, new experience for me.”

‘Right now though, we are focused on the league and trying to win the league with Al Jazira. But, for me, it is a great opportunity to go to Manchester City.”

‘I know Kolo Toure, Didier Zokora and Emmanuel Eboue – we all come from the same football academy in Ivory Coast.”

‘I don’t speak to them regularly, but whenever we go back for vacations we meet. I watch the English football all the time and that’s why I am an Arsenal supporter: My friends are there.’

His previous clubs include Tunisian side Esperance Sportive, and Al Ain. I mean in all due respect who is he? If he is good enough then bring it on but it`s worth thinking about what I`m about to say.

Ibrahim Diaky went on to say this:

‘I knew the owners were the same [as own Al Jazira and Man City], so I was thinking: ‘Maybe I could move there’,’

I get the feeling this is defiantly not a Mark Hughes signing and more of the owners who feel he plays well for an unknown team so he must surely be able to cut it in the prem.

If he does move however I`m sure we will all be willing him to do well but if I had the choice of him or Kaka? I think we all know the winner there.
