As you are all well aware, the official fixture list for next season was released at 9.00am, so who’s up first on our hit-list?
Manchester City will be thrust straight into the thick of things when they kick off against top 4 rivals Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on the opening day of the 2010/11 season.
This grudge match is followed an equally tough home fixture against Liverpool a week later, meaning that City will have to hit the ground running if they are to stake their claim for a much coveted Champions League position.
There are no runs of ‘easy games’ next season, and with two domestic cups and the Europa League taking their toll, it will be a long, gruelling, and at times, frustrating season – but one that could ultimately see us fighting for a grandstand finish.
