Aug 15: Manchester City kick off the 2009/10 Premier League campaign with a short away trip at Blackburn Rovers.
Other 2009 highlights include 19 September – Manchester United(a), 21 November – Liverpool(a) and Chelsea – 5 December(h).
Over the next couple of days Sky and Setanta will be getting their heads together to decide which games they intend showing live. In essence that means several of the 2009 fixtures will move from the traditional Saturday 3pm starts to Sunday, and or Monday. Both broadcasters are expected to announce their first three months schedules by the end of June.
