Valencia have today declared that talks between Manchester City and themselves have taken place over the possible transfer of Spanish forward David Villa.
However Valencia have stressed that no bid was made, and City failed to agree on their asking price which was deemed a “significant amount”.
City have declined to comment on the situation as they look to focus on their UEFA cup battle which takes place tonight.
