I can see eleven going and a higher number coming in. The squad is essentially too small. The changes can’t all be done in January, but I still think there will be some key changes then.
Some of the INs might look a bit fantasy football. But I’ve enjoyed researching them. The idea was to have small groups of players from the major footballing countries. Hence a clutch of German players, for instance. Including a top young goalkeeper to give Joe Hart at least serious competition.
