James Wood, the son of former Cardiff City goalkeeper George Wood, is following in his father’s footsteps after agreeing his first professional contract with Manchester City.
Wood (18) is described as a promising young Scottish goalkeeper who began his career at Ninian Park. In his first interview Wood said..
‘Manchester City is a massive club, and I am honoured that they have shown faith in me at this stage of my career.’
