City Snatch It!

Man City’s Premier League season continued with a win against Swansea at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

It was left late, very late, but City secured a two-one win thanks to Yaya Toure’s injury-time effort that deflected in off Kelechi Iheanacho for the winner against the managerless Swans.

Wilfried Bony got the better of his former Ashley Williams before opening the scoring in the first half with Bafetimbi Gomis looking as though his last minute goal had rescued Swansea a point.

That was until Toure’s curler (which possibly would have gone in anyway) deflected in off his teammate to win it for City!

The other results were.

Saturday 12th December 2015
Norwich 1-1 Everton
Crystal Palace 1-0 Southampton
Man City 2-1 Swansea
Sunderland 0-1 Watford
West Ham 0-0 Stoke
Bournemouth 2-1 Man Utd

Sunday 13th December 2015
Aston Villa 0-2 Arsenal

These are now being played/to be played.

Liverpool v West Brom 16:00
Tottenham v Newcastle 16:00

Monday 14th December 2015
Leicester v Chelsea 20:00

Looking at these results (despite some interesting ones) the stand out one (so far) has to be the win for Bournemouth against Man United at Dean Court on Saturday. That two-one win meant the Cherries followed up the win at Chelsea with a win against United in under a week!

City are back in action on Monday week with a top of the table showdown with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
