The Blues will play their third competitive game of the season at Crystal Palace in the second round of the Carling Cup…

Hatstand, shouty Yorkshire gaffer Neil Warnock will certainly ensure that the contest won’t be dull and there will be plenty of seat shifting from edgy Blues recalling last season’s excruciating exit at Brighton.

Championship Palace have a young side and Warnock said pre season that he is intending to ‘prove people wrong.’

City, regardless of our newfound options will have to be on our guard.

The tie will be played week beginning 24th August. Date to be confirmed.
