There are several permutations for MCFC to overcome Liverpool, one of which is for the lads to win 3-0 and then go onto win the game in extra-time, or on penalties. The lads could go one better and batter Klopps side by four goals or more. But, what we don’t want is for Liverpool to score an away goal. If they do I really believe City making the semis will be just one step too far.
We know Pep’s team can score for fun – we also know our back three, or four depending on the boss’s tactics can leave the defending lads looking vulnerable (look sharp lads). Having said that, earlier in the season we hammered Liverpool 5-0. The guys also put five past Leicester and Crystal Palace, netted six times vs Watford and banged seven goals in against Stoke.
In Pep we trust
Pep: what happened to the coach at Anfield is gone, we hope our fans will support us of course. Don’t give up, don’t give up, we can create chances and we have to be clinical. I don’t think I have to motivate the players my team is extraordinary,it’s a joy to be manager #ManCity pic.twitter.com/xYr7xEfqes

Have the faith Blues
Pep: to go through we need a perfect game. We have 90 minutes, everything can happen. We’ll see. I don’t know if my players are damaged psychologically. Whatever happens tomorrow they will learn from this, we will be here for a long time #ManCity pic.twitter.com/RyIKkI6Qa1

Everyone that is attending the game tomorrow at The Etihad get involved. We need to be behind the boys 100% for the full 90 minutes. Let's make it a night to remember. If anyone can do it, it's Manchester City Football Club. pic.twitter.com/okbeSwsuDv
