It’s been a season of a few firsts really and ‘unexpected things’ have happened to City but we have never lost a Premier League game against West Brom at the Etihad, we’ll not want that changing on Saturday.

In actual fact we’ve won nine of the past 10-matches against West Brom! Our chances of defending the Premier League title are all but over so now we’ll be looking to at least consolidate second place, which would require a win in this early kick-off….

Yaya Toure (Achilles) will sit out after he was injured in our one-nil defeat in Barcelona on Wednesday, which confirmed our Champions League exit.

Another doubt if James Milner (knee), so he could also sit out along with Aleksandr Kolarov.

West Brom ‘keeper Ben Foster (knee) will be replaced by Boaz Myhill with Chris Brunt and Claudio Yacob (both suspension) sitting out. One that could come back from injury though is Victor Anichebe (groin).

Having won just 50% of the points on offer so far this year, and losing four of our last five-matches in all competitions, it is by far a certainty that we’ll win this one on Saturday against an improving side under Tony Pulis.

Will it be more misery or something for us to celebrate? Place your bets in the poll to your right!
