Blues can expect The Citizens to shortly back up established inquiries and offers that have been ongoing while the City squad recuperate from a wonderful first full season under Roberto Mancini’s leadership.
Perhaps the most otherworldly aspect of this June has been seeing City repeatedly linked for players alongside the rival likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona. City dining at the top table has been something to savour.
But now the need for a handful of high quality signings intensifies in advance of City’s first ever Champions League campaign.
