City have allowed teenage striker Devante Cole to leave on loan, with him signing for Barnsley until 5th January.
The 19-year-old, who looks to have a promising future ahead of him, will benefit from this spell on loan with the league 1 outfit and should, you would think, feature regularly with his development in need of first-team football.
If Devante ends up being half as prolific as his old man, former England international and City striker Andy Cole of course, he’ll not go far wrong will he!
We’ll be keeping an eye on his progress at Oakwell.
Another youngster set to leave on loan is summer signing Bruno Zuculini. The 21-year old, signing from Racing, was set to join Sunderland on loan but this wasn’t a move that was possible in the end with the midfielder now set to join Spanish outfit Valencia for the season.
Permanently leaving the Etihad though could be Matija Nastasic, as rumours continue to link him with an exit with Juventus continuing to sniff around. A £12m move could see him join the Italian champions?
