England face Croatia tonight in what is described as a crucial World Cup qualifying game.

However, did you know Slaven Bilic’s side are one of Europe’s in-form teams, unbeaten at home in 37 matches?

Team News

Joe Cole is expected to start on the left of midfield after scoring twice as a sub in the 2-0 win against Andorra on Saturday, while Arsenal’s Theo Walcott will probably start the game on the right side of midfield.

Wes Brown replaces Glen Johnson at right-back and Rio Ferdinand should be fit again.

Emile Heskey and Wayne Rooney are expected to play up front.

Croatia boss Slaven Bilic was in a buoyant mood after notching up wins against the Three Lions during the Euro 2008 qualifiers…

‘You’ve not changed at all – but we’ve got better and better.’

‘We are full of respect for England. They have key players, world-class players, some of them for 10 years, and we know it’s going to be hard but we are very confident, of course.’

Anyone wanting to watch the game at home will have to be Setanta Sports subscribers. Failing that, there is always the radio.
