City are reported to have accepted an offer from first division Norwich City, believed to be in the region of £800,000, for right winger Lee Croft.

Despite a number of first team outings for the blues last season, Croft was never able to establish himself in the side and it doesn’t really come as a surprise that the club are willing to listen to offers.

If Croft can agree personal terms with the canaries, City will have recouped near on £2 million for home grown players this summer which is testament to the success of the club’s youth policy. Making good money for those player’s that won’t make the grade at City is something the club has failed to do in the past. It seems that in some respects things are improving.
