According to an update courtesy of le10sport, Man City winger Riyad Mahrez is ‘doing his best‘ to convince AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer to join the Sky Blues – prompting many supporters to beg Txiki Begiristain over signing the 22-year-old who is ‘better than Gundogan‘.
Bennacer, who has started 26 Serie A matches for Milan this season, could be an ideal heir to Fernandinho given his stats – with the Algerian making a higher amount of tackles on average than the Brazilian in midfield, even more than the 35-year-old managed during his stellar 2019/2019 campaign.
