Dunne Determined To Depart City

If you believe everything you hear then Manchester City skipper Richard Dunne is on the verge of leaving Eastlands.

Dunne (28) who has a year left on his City contract is thought to have become disillusioned at the way the breakdown between Sven Goran Eriksson and owner Thaksin Shinawatra has prevented any major decisions being made at the club.

Several Premier League clubs including Sunderland, Newcastle, West Ham and Spurs are reportedly monitoring the Republic of Ireland international’s situation and are ready to make official offers within weeks.

The 6’2′ defender, who has remained silent over the speculation is valued anywhere between £2.5 and £6m.
