Enough Is Enough

City’s freefall is now out of control. Another tactically clueless performance and embarrassing FA Cup defeat leaves Stuart Pearce surely now staring down the barrel.

That was dreadful. Those of us dreaming of FA Cup glory should have known better when you consider the nosedive and absolute shambles that the City board and amateur management approach have brought us down to.

Joey Barton and Richard Dunne were absolutely right to question the desire of the mercenaries Pearce has squandered transfer fees and heavy wages upon.

It is absoultely unacceptable to see the opposition go down to 10 men and then create absolutely NOTHING of any bite or fight. Totally undeserving of that amazing support. The substitutions were appallingly timed and what little playing system or guile there was, reduced into mayhem. Once again, there was evidently no idea how to proceed tactically.

Enough is enough and I see no other alternative other than to sack Pearce and his clueless backroom staff NOW in a desperate attempt to save our Premiership status. The board should consider their positions as well having sanctioned a pathetic barrel scraping transfer and wage policy that has led us to this.

Pearce’s record is appalling and serious damage has already been done. The management team is an amateur lower league shambles and way out of its depth…and that’s an insult to the lower leagues.

The mercenaries have given up on Pearce as Cole, James, Bunn and Flowers did and I suggest there is a big problem amongst the players themselves.

I’d prefer to see Sturridge, Abdoun and Miller in the starting eleven against Chelsea. Batterings remain on the cards. Hand the management to Barton and Dunne. Could they do any worse??!!

I cannot believe the situation has been allowed to reach this stage. Is anybody running our club??!!
