With just over two weeks to go unto Jose (Maureen) Mourinho brings his Manchester United side to the Etihad we at VMC thought we’d take a brief look at our opponents.
Premier League position
Saturday 7 April 2018 could be an historic day in the history of Manchester City FC when, if the best coach in the world IE Pep Guardiola manages to outdo Maureen’s tactics (that shouldn’t be too hard) and the City lads manage to break down the United bus MCFC will be officially crowned the 2018 Premier League champions.
One should never gloat
City has won this year’s League Cup and we are odds on favourite to win the PL title. The lads are still in the hunt for Champions League glory. On the other hand United could, in theory win the FA Cup. Whoopy-do!
As we enter the season’s final countdown VMC will periodically (perhaps NOT) monitor United’s progress.
