Noel Gallagher & Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno drew this evening’s FA Cup Third Round ties, which sees Sven-Göran Eriksson’s Leicester City go up against friend and former colleague Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City.
Pizzorno, a Leicester supporter and Gallagher, a Blue, understandably took delight in the draw that pits their teams against each other.
True to his form, Gallagher had another treat in store for the Blue half of Manchester, drawing Manchester United up against their arch rivals Liverpool.
The FA Cup Third Round will take place in early January, with times and dates to be determined after consultation with various television companies.
