Manchester City beat Borussia Mochengladbach 2-0 and Bernardo Silva was one of many players who shone in Wednesday’s Champions League clash. The 26-year-old had a hand in two goals on the night and was hailed by supporters for his performance.
Silva headed home Joao Cancelo’s brilliant whipped cross from deep for City’s first goal and squared another Cancelo cross in the direction of Gabriel Jesus for their second. He was fantastic at the Puskas Arena and more than deserving of the plaudits.

Another good, professional win today. I thought defensively we were outstanding today, really smothered Gladbach and gave them nothing to work with. We could have and should have had more, but nevertheless Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Rodri and Bernardo were all superb.

Bernardo is becoming a City Legend. Amazing player. Joao Cancelo is certainly stepping up too. Since 2011 City have had the best players we've had since the 70's.
