Much is made about top Premier League goalscorers since the rebrand, but which player scored your clubs first ever strike for those sides preparing for top flight life in 2017/18.

With Brighton and Huddersfield Town joining the Premier League ranks for the first time since the split back in 1992, two more names will go down in history when it comes to a clubs’ first ever scorer in the self styled best league in the world and whilst there will be plenty of bookmakers taking money on who those two individuals will be – this is how this particular historical table looks as we go into the campaign.
