Five of Manchester City’s opening seven fixtures in 2015-16 have been selected by the broadcasters for the live television coverage treatment.

Our Premier League season opener against Tony Pulis and his West Bromwich Albion side has now been given the Monday night treatment. It therefore takes place on August 10 and will now carry at 8pm kick off at The Hawthorns.

The Etihad clash with current Premier League Champions Chelsea – the first game on home soil since the stadium extension has been completed – has also been shifted to Sunday August 16 and will kick off at 4pm.

Our trip to Goodison Park has also seen a change, and that too will now take place on Sunday August 23, carrying a 4pm kick off also.

There’s also been a change to our hosting of West Ham but don’t get excited yet – it remains subject to a further potential switch.

The game remains provisionally set for Saturday September 10 at the Etihad, but the kick off time has been pushed back to 5.30pm. Subject to West Ham’s Europa League involvement though it could be switched to another date.

Finally, our trip to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham Hotspur also continues to take place on Saturday September 26, but the kick off time has been pulled forward to 12.45pm.

The first four games will be screened by Sky Sports, and the Spurs trip will be screened by BT Sport.
