The fall out from the public relations disaster that has been the sacking of Mark Hughes is gathering pace. Rumours are rife that Craig Bellamy has declared he wants out of Eastlands…

Bellamy was one of a group of senior players who alledgedly confronted City CEO Garry Cook after Hughes announced to the dressing room that he had been sacked on Saturday evening. Bellamy is alledged to be disgusted.

The Welsh striker has embodied City’s best start to a season in donkeys years with his fight to the death efforts. If he is no longer to wear the shirt then it will be a major blow to the legions of Blues he has won over this year with his skill and spirit.

All eyes on the Roberto Mancini – Garry Cook Eastlands press conference at 17h00 GMT. It’s hoped they will deny that the Welsh Bomber has handed in a transfer request.
