Speaking in a press conference ahead of Man City’s home game against Burnley on Monday, boss Pep Guardiola confirmed that winger Leroy Sane won’t be signing an extension at the Etihad and is likely to leave this summer – or at the end of his current deal.
Sane, who has long been touted with a move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, is seemingly on the way out with little chance of him staying at Eastlands – prompting some Sky Blues to try and search for his ideal replacement.
Taking to social media in debate, the one man that some City supporters have tipped to succeed Sane is young academy winger Jayden Braaf – with a handful of fans claiming we will not need to spend money to find the German’s heir.
Who should replace Sane?
Braaf, who has impressed in City’s Elite Development Squad this season, plays in the same position and could be cheap alternative – here’s how Citizens lauded the 17-year-old on Twitter.

Of course Braaf is no Sané but the kid has talent. We have Sterling and Mahrez, Bernardo can also play wing. Promote Braaf as a 4th option and give him time to develop. No need to go out and spend 100 mil on a winger. Defense is the problem right now imo
