Come on folks, let’s face it – Vincent Kompany never stood a chance…

I know it wasn’t a red card. You know it wasn’t a red card. Numerous pundits, journalists, former referees, even ex-rags reacted with complete astonishment to Chris Foy’s ludicrous decision to send Vincent Kompany off in the 12th minute of a hotly contested Manchester derby.

But what does it matter? Capricious media-banner, scathing critic of referees and the Football Association, Slur Alex was quickly on the propaganda trail, branding Kompany a dirty player who’d got away with bad challenges literally thousands of time this season already!

Plastic hair wearing serial thug and brandisher of invisible cards Wayne Rugney tweeted his innocence: ‘I’m not the ref!’

Boy genius and wannabe gangsta rapper Wio proclaimed ‘two footed, red card, end of.’

The FA have already shown the world that Wayne Rugney is their numero uno golden boy and Ingerlund ‘talisman’ by their cringeworthy defence of the indefensible, ie. having the thug’s 3 match ban for a cynical kick out reduced to 2 matches – well done FA, you make me proud of the England team.

But what if Rugney and his master are under the spotlight? What if they are travelling to Zurich the very next day to face European football’s elite at the Ballon d’Or awards…?

It simply wouldn’t do to have those two pillars of the English game contradicted in such illustrious company would it? Nope, for better or worse, the red nosed Scottish organ grinder and his shaved monkey are the new face of English football, our new ambassadors of all that is right with the game in this country and as such are politically untouchable.

Which makes them right, and everyone else wrong, including those who are technically in the right like Manchester City and Vincent Kompany.

And how do the jury find the accused? Guilty m’lawd.
