Manchester City has increased their offer for Blackburn Rovers ace Roque Santa Cruz, according to a source.
Rovers rejected City’s offer of £12m but news circulating suggest Mark Hughes has made a fresh bid of £18million for the Paraguayan striker.
‘We are in the market for a striker and made a substantial offer, which has been well documented,’ added Hughes.
‘We will have to wait and see what happens.’
