Aston Villa’s trip to the City of Manchester Stadium this Saturday, 1st May 2010 might end up being a travelling nightmare as fuel protesters intend causing travel chaos.

The Huddersfield Daily Examiner is reporting…

‘A GO-SLOW fuel protest could be about to hit the M62.’

‘The protest, due on May 1, is being co-ordinated by bikers’ groups in Yorkshire and Lancashire, angered by soaring petrol prices.’

‘They [protesters] plan to take up all lanes at speeds no greater than 25mph until they reach Manchester Town Hall, where they will be met by more protesters on foot.’

Aston Villa take on Manchester City this Saturday May 1 at Eastlands. Kick off is at 3pm.
